Amanda started as a Zumba student at Amore in 2006 and quickly fell in love with/became addicted to Zumba by taking classes with Tony, Jess, and Sol. I became a licensed Zumba instructor in June 2010 and started subbing at Amore a couple months later. Now I have my own weekly Zumba class at Amore.
During the day, Amanda works as an Oncology Social Worker at a local hospital. She has a husband, friends, and family that she loves, a cat and dog that make me laugh every day. She enjoys cooking, working in the yard, photography, and reading, and loves Zumba! “Zumba is my stress-reducer Working in healthcare can be taxing and stressful, and for me, getting to teach Zumba to my awesome students each week and work out my stress through exercise is very therapeutic. I also think you have to work to keep balance in your life – make time for yourself, your family, and your friends.”
